I was really happy with the value for my money at this hotel. The room was simple, clean, and had great air conditioning. The location was perfect - just a short walk from the ferry and close to the beach, restaurants, and bars. The staff was friendly and made me feel welcome.

We walked just a few minutes from the ferry to Posada Hondumar. No need for a taxi unless you have lots of luggage. The sandy/dirt roads were manageable for my roller carry-on. The posada is conveniently located just a block or two from the beach, as well as restaurants and bars. The room was basic, simple, and clean, with the added bonus of air conditioning. The staff was friendly and the hot water for the shower was a welcome amenity. it was the perfect choice for my first night in Holbox after a long day of travel.
